Engagements
Engagement sessions are a great way to get to know the couple. Sometimes they have locations or ideas for the photos and sometimes they leave it to me.
Spending a few hours together before the wedding helps build trust knowing that I'll make you look great in your photos on your wedding day too!

Nina and Stephen’s wedding day was full of incredible moments. We started with photos at Nina’s parents' home. Their front entry staircase and the gorgeous light filtering through the windows made a perfect backdrop for Nina’s portraits.
We took stunning portraits on the spiral staircase when we arrived at the Old Courthouse. I love how bold they look!

The three-story set of windows framing the Tudor Arms ceremony space flooded the whole room with light, making Alison and Jesse’s first kiss extra special. They shared their first dance on the dark wooden floors of the ballroom, surrounded by their smiling guests.
They were hoisted up in chairs during the hora and spent the rest of the night dancing and mingling with their guests. This wedding truly was special.

We made our way to the rotunda at the Cleveland Museum of Art for some portraits of the couple in front of the incredible art and marble architecture. There were so many beautiful photos from Sara and Ryan’s wedding.
The terrace was a grand setting for the ceremony, and the atrium, with its view of fantastic art in every direction, is also impressive.

The outdoor patio at Truss, their reception venue, has such a wonderful view of downtown Cleveland as the sun sets. The skyline was also viewable through the windows during the reception, specifically during their first dance and cake-cutting ceremony, creating a stunning backdrop for photos.
The dance floor was packed all night, and the venue was a dream. It was an awesome night.

Shira and Gabriel had a traditional Jewish Orthodox wedding. Their first-look photos were absolutely delightful. We took them on a stone bridge, and you could clearly see how smitten Gabriel was with Shira– he couldn’t stop looking at her!
I had previously photographed two of the bride’s sisters’ weddings, so reconnecting with their family was special. Shira and Gabriel’s wedding party was enthusiastic and supportive throughout the day.

Karla and Jason had their reception at the Union Club, so of course, we took photos on their iconic staircase.
At the reception, everyone laughed as they performed traditional Lebanese dances to the beat of the live drummers. The couple shed a few tears during the heartfelt speeches. We ended the night taking portraits in front of the glittering city skyline.

2. your Engagement Session
If you choose an engagement session, we’ll spend about two hours at one or more of your favorite locations, capturing the perfect candids for your Save The Dates. We’ll get comfortable working together, you’ll feel less awkward in front of the camera, and you’ll have an idea of what the wedding day will be like.
As your wedding day approaches, I’ll send you a planner to gather all the information I need to ensure you get every single photo you want. This planner covers family formals, timeline details, and a rain plan, so I know exactly where I need to be and when.
3. Planning the Details
When wedding day arrives, I’ll be armed with my lenses, ready to capture every single moment– really, everything. We’ll get the formal portraits out of the way, have fun with the wedding party photos, and take some quiet time to capture you and your partner.
4. WEdding day!
I’ll share some sneak previews a few days after your wedding and the remainder will be delivered six to eight weeks later. This gives me plenty of time to edit, retouch, and curate the best of the best.
If you choose to commemorate your special day with an heirloom album, we’ll discuss all of the details: choosing your favorite photos and design elements to make it yours. Once ordered, your album will arrive and you’ll always have a place to relive your memories!

Though I’m based in Cleveland, I photograph couples all over Northeast Ohio and beyond. Collections include high resolution images, assistant/photographer and more! Heirloom quality albums also available.
