My first time for a Blair Center wedding in Westfield and what a beautiful venue.

We started with getting ready photos of Jackie at the Westfield Inn before heading to the church where Tom was
waiting. His jacket was a handsome green color that reminded me of a darker version of the Masters golf tourney
winner’s jacket. Although I didn’t ask about it I now wonder if it’s related since he does love golf.
Jackie: “We picked our venue after not too long a search. Tom really wanted to get married at a country club/ golf
course because that’s his favorite activity and golfing started our relationship and has been a big part of us.
After looking at about three different country clubs we decided on Westfield because the staff was amazing. A Blair
Center wedding was the most functional venue we found and it was by far the most gorgeous. And it didn’t hurt that
we got a discount because Tom works for Westfield. I’m so happy we went with Westfield because everything seemed
to go perfectly, the food was delicious, and they were very easy to work with.”
After the ceremony at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church with Pastor David Nevergall we went to the Medina Square area
for portraits. H2 Wine Merchants has a gorgeous shop and were nice enough to let us take some photos in there while
the couple enjoyed a drink along with some of the wedding party. Then we found some cool back alley spots for photos
and it was a big surprise when I saw Cousin Eddie’s RV used in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at Castle Noel.
Now is the perfect time to check out the Christmas museum.
We arrived for the Blair Center wedding reception at Westfield Country Club just in time for the reception to start.
The band Cleveland Keys consisting of two pianos and a drummer took requests all night and kept the dance floor
packed. They were so fun!
The couple used my photo booth and built a backdrop for it. Jackie: “The photo booth we created was the largest DIY
I’ve ever done and it seemed to work out. Our friend works at a hardware store and does projects on the side. So
we asked him if he’d be willing to create the wooden frame. What would’ve cost us hundreds of dollars only ended
up being $46. From there, I bought some gossamer and put it on a PVC pipe. The florist came day of and attached
all of those gorgeous orchids to the gossamer and we had our photo booth. At first, we didn’t know how we were going
to take the pictures at the photo booth and then you showed us your fun photo booth and we couldn’t say no. It was
so simple to use, everyone got their pictures directly, the lighting made everyone look amazing and it was fun watching
people trying to understand how a GIF works.”
I’m looking forward to being back for another Blair Center wedding. What timing-I received a call the day after about
another one there for 2019.
Jackie got help from her mother Elizabeth.
Do you recognize this RV?
Maria, left, and Holly danced to the Cleveland Keys.
Jackie watched with friend Sarah laughing at brother Aaron’s dancing.
