With the cold outside, Julie and Pat wanted a warm Cleveland library engagement session.
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
We started our Cleveland library engagement photos by the staircase everyone always loves to use before moving
to a few other rooms. There’s still so many options I need to explore. I’ve not taken many photos here on wedding
days although it’s very popular. Especially on a rainy day or in the winter. For a December wedding a few years
ago we went here and there were still five other wedding portrait sessions!
When it’s raining I prefer to use a few locations where we can keep dry and I have NEVER seen another photographer
or wedding party. I’m just not a fan of crowds if I can avoid it.
Back to Julie and Pat. She wore a gorgeous skirt and heels combo while Pat went understated and classy with his
dark clothing. Then it was time to brave the cold weather for some skyline and bridge photos they requested. The
couple wore mustard coats that looked gorgeous (gore-jushhhh) in photos! I found some darker backdrops to frame them
and was really happy with how they turned out. The Prince mural was fun and afterwards we got to a skyline location just as
dusk arrived. Perfect timing with a hint of blue still in the sky.
I’m excited to photograph this Washington DC power couple and their Cuyahoga County Courthouse wedding in the fall!
Thank you for viewing this Cleveland Library engagement,
