Jess and Corey’s day brought me back for another wonderful Hilton Garden Inn Perrysburg wedding.
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
While I love photographing weddings close to home it’s always fun for an out of town adventure. The new locations and challenges as I
find new backdrops with my couples always raises my creativity to a higher level.
When I started talking with Jess and Corey about their wedding I was excited since I’d never done a wedding in Bowling Green.
I had done a Hilton Garden Inn Perrysburg wedding before so the reception part of the day I knew well.
The clock tower and lights outside the Inn at Levi Commons always make for a good evening backdrop.
We started at the church.
Jess: “We chose to have our wedding ceremony at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green because it was the church that I grew
up in. I attended school there from the time I was three until I was 14 so it holds a special place in my heart. Having the
ceremony in Bowling Green also meant less travel for the majority of our guests.”
We arrived in town early and scouted around the downtown and identified two locations I knew would be good for photos. The couple
also chose Simpson Garden Park for photos which worked out perfectly.
Jess said the beautiful ballroom and and being in a hotel worked out great for their out of town guests. Perrysburg is just south
of Toledo.
Now please enjoy the photos as they enjoyed their honeymoon in Hawaii!
Best man Adam helped Corey with his suit.
Mother Michelle got Jess tightly into her dress.
Father Martin had an emotional first look with his daughter.
Maid of honor Amanda helped Jess get to the ceremony as church coordinator Erin Dulek lead the way.
All eyes were on flower girl Skylar.
Father Thomas McQuillen led the ceremony.
Jess danced with her parents.
