It’s a real gift when both the bride and groom value and are excited about their wedding photography and engaged as we capture and make memories of the moments, characters and qualities that matter to them.

Loren and Mike’s engagement photo session was a joy – Mike was into it as much or maybe even more than Loren. It’s always great when the men are as invested as the women in getting great photos. And what a sense of style! Mike and Loren both looked amazing, and it is possible (I didn’t count) that Mike brought more wardrobe changes than Loren. That day we took all kinds of great shots around University Circle where Mike spent lots of time as a Case Western Reserve University student where he played football.
Mike and Loren were smart: the ceremony and reception were at the Key Center lobby so logistics were easy and the day flowed beautifully. I met Loren as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids at the Marriott at Key Tower. From there I found the guys on a different floor as they prepared.
The couple chose to see each other before (first look!). This always makes for great moments and we take advantage with photojournalism style photos here and throughout the day. Don’t they look great? We were outside the Society for Savings Building when they met.
From there we did photos of the bridal party and family before checking out downtown with the happy couple while the others prepared for the ceremony.
The ceremony was on the west side of the Key Tower lobby with the historic Society for Savings bank building in the background. Mike is a big fan of Cleveland architecture and loved the archway behind them.
Coming soon: the ceremony and reception. It’s here so please check it out!
Thank you,
