Melissa and Brian’s Windows On The River wedding was beautiful.
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
It’s always nice to be at Windows on the River for a wedding and the City View is a great option! The ceremony, cocktail hour
and reception all took place there.
We started with Melissa getting ready at her place. I was surprised to find a past bride of mine, Audrey, was a bridesmaid.
Melissa had no idea I’d photographed her wedding. We did a first look with Melissa’s father, James, while there.
We then met Brian at the Hyatt Arcade. She showed up for their first look and portraits with the bridal party. The backdrops
are always full of great options.
Then we were off to Windows on the River for the rest of the wedding day/night.
Melissa: “We chose Windows because we thought it was a beautiful place and is located in the city we love the most. I’ve lived
in the area all my life and it’s a big part of our lives.
“Brian’s from Pittsburgh and moved here after college. My family did a cookie table to try and bring Pittsburgh to Cleveland.
In Pittsburgh the cookie table at weddings is a big thing.”
Melissa’s officiant was her cousin Nicole’s husband John and Nicole was the matron of honor. “We grew up very close to each
other – she was the sister I never had.”
Mother Ann helped with the dress.
Scott helped while Brian checked messages.
Melissa was overwhelmed with emotions before the first look.
Father James walked the bride down the aisle.
Nicole and best man Michael gave the toasts.
