Tall Oaks Resort wedding in Cleveland

This was my first time for a Tall Oaks Resort Wedding in Kirtland and I’d heard good things from several other wedding
vendors. The staff is super nice and everyone runs smoothly were two of the accolades.

The ladies were getting ready in the bridal suite. This includes several chairs for hair and makeup plus a bedroom and
lounge area. Just outside is a patio with access to the grounds and a gazebo. 

Tall Oaks Resort really has everyone set up well for this part of the day. After making some photos of the ladies
preparing I left to see where the guys were located. 

They were upstairs in a large room with a full kitchen, dining room table and even some video games. On either side
are rooms for guests. Most of the bridal party and some family had these so they didn’t have to go far after the wedding was over. 

Again I was impressed with how well thought out everything was for a Tall Oaks Resort Wedding.

The couple did a first look near a bridge from the parking area to the reception area. After this we took the bridal
party around the property for some portraits of the groups. The overhead entrance sign saying – yes you guess it! – TALL OAKS
was a must have photo with the bridal party.

One of the groomsmen thought it would be fun to “ice” the bridesmaids so after we were done with the photo I gave the
signal and the men all produced a bottle of Smirnoff Ice for the ladies to quickly drink. For those who don’t know Icing
 is a drinking game. It’s been around about 15 years and a person hides the bottle so it’s found or given to another. That
person must then kneel and drink the bottle.

Everyone then hid away as the guests were arriving to the ceremony area. 

About their Tall Oaks Resort wedding choice: “Tall Oaks Resort was the first and only venue we looked at. We picked a
date, signed and paid that same day (way back in December of 2021). We went while we were both home in Ohio from Iowa with
both of our families.

“My dad Greg found the venue. He knew it was exactly what I wanted and he was right!”

Jessica and Sawyer entered the barn reception from upstairs and it was a dramatic way to do it. After all the toasts and
dinner it was a packed dance floor all night.

“We had a blast and barely left the dance floor which was something important to us both. The sparklers at the end
of the night went well. I was excited about them but my fire
investigator husband was a nervous wreck about it but nothing burned down.

Tall Oaks Resort

The venue does weddings, private parties and corporate events and can seat up to 330 guests in the barn. The waterfalls
and fountains are nice water features along with the gazebos and Smokehouse for outdoor dining. 

Carriage House Inn

Tall Oaks has several suites options for guests wanting to stay the night plus the community game room and kitchen for
hanging out after the event.
