Cleveland Candlelight Proposal

Camryn and Roman’s Cleveland candlelight proposal at the Cleveland Museum of Art was a warm surprise bathed in golden light.

Roman had some great ideas for a wedding proposal. He surprised Camryn with a Cleveland Candlelight proposal after a concert to the tunes of Metallica. The concert was held at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Gartner Auditorium and performed by a quartet.

When Roman first contacted me the plan was in front of the Thinker statue at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The couple was going to the concert and he thought he could propose beforeor after the show. I said it would be too dark after so before would work best. Then it was super windy so that was an issue and I told him of a nice location shielded from the wind.

He wondered if we could do it inside the art museum but that did not seem likely. He left a message with the museum and Brea in marketing got back to him. She said he could propose after the concert in front of the stage after everyone had gone. Perfect!

I waited toward the back of the auditorium as the concert ended and enjoyed a few songs. Then the crowd quickly filed out as they came down from the balcony. He took out his phone and they did a selfie. Then he turned toward her and got on one knee producing an engagement ring. She was surprised and said yes.

We were told we could do some photos before the next concert and had a few minutes. After a bit Brea said it was okay for them to go on the stage if they were careful not to knock any candles.

That was a wonderful opportunity so we quickly took some more photos. What a magical moment!

The concerts are becoming quite popular with a variety of well known bands music done in a classical vein. Museum, churches and other venues are being filled with candlelights and music for a unique experience. Fever is a national event and promotion platform that’s behind the performances.
