Edgewater Park Proposal
Max was considering a couple sites for the proposal when he messaged. The west bank of the Flats, the Hyatt Arcade and the Fountain of Eternal Life were all ideas for his proposal.
I recommended Edgewater Park for excellent lighting and backdrop because I’ve done three or four at the Arcade, where it gets a little dark in the early evening. After giving it some thought, he concluded that was a brilliant idea.
He looked at a couple places I suggested at Edgewater Park, and we selected the ideal place.
When I noticed them coming down the beach, I moved away from the shore to make myself less noticeable. I was about to ask some individuals on the pier who wouldn’t make the best background to move for a short while when they turned to go.
Katie was shocked as Max dropped to one knee as soon as they arrived at the location! He pointed me out to her after they had been excited for a few minutes. She was completely unaware of my presence.
She did let me know that he was behaving a little strangely and that she was curious as to why he was taking her on such a long walk along the beach.
Then, while the sun was rapidly lowering, we created a few portraits.
I’m thrilled that they invited me to the Union Club for their wedding!
