Madeline and Brett’s wedding was a classic event at Cleveland City Hall.
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
They live in Tremont and wanted to do some photos at Hotz Cafe
after they got ready at the the Westin Cleveland Downtown where they also did their first look.
Brother Kyle helps Brett with his bow tie.
Love this image of Brett overlooking Cleveland City Hall
where the ceremony and reception will take place. Behind it you can see
the outline of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
Her mother Robin expresses her love.
Maid of honor Jen helps Madeline with her shoes.
Bridesmaid Grace is reflected near the suitcase that would
announce their wedding at Cleveland City Hall.
The first look was near the wonderful staircase at the Westin
Cleveland Downtown. I always love making a special chapter of this through
the images of the couple meeting for the first time on their wedding day.
Then we were off to Hotz Cafe in Tremont. The bar opened in 1919
and has been in the family for four generations.
I love the bottle cap barstools. I had to photograph these for a
story years ago when I was a photographer at the Plain Dealer.
The shuffleboard is from the 1940’s.
Then we did a few quick photos with the Cleveland skyline
before heading to the ceremony at Cleveland City Hall.
Madeline’s father Thomas walked her down the aisle.
Brett’s face lit up when he saw Madeline coming toward him.
I love the multiple floors of Cleveland City Hall and
ran around getting all different angles while there.
Their families are very important to them so their parents Thomas, Robin,
Cindy and Rodger came up for a parental blessing to bless their union.
Porter takes a nap on his father, Patrick’s, lap during the
ceremony while sister, Thierry, stays awake.
Madeline’s brother Sean officiated for the first wedding ceremony he’s done and did a great job!
The cocktail on the second floor was wonderful with three cheese stuffed
mushrooms, herb chicken tenderloins wrapped with basil and prosciutto ham,
and spinach feta cheese in phyllo dough being served. A Taste of Excellence
catered the event.
Danielle and her fiance Lenny talk during the cocktail hour.
I wonder if they have a wedding photographer yet…
I loved their entrance as all eyes were on Madeline and Brett.
The cake was made by Michael Angelo’s Bakery in Broadview Heights.
They drank out of a bridal cup that Brett’s grandparents
and parents used on their wedding days.
Groomsmen brothers Kyle and Jameson and Sean and Elliot cheered them on during the toast.
Maid of honor Jen gives a toast.
Pete at Troy Entertainment kept the dance floor full all night long.
Amy and Jake enjoyed dancing as did cousin Megan from California.
