Union Club Cleveland
Kate and Eric’s wedding at the Union Club of Cleveland was full of old world charm.

I was looking forward to Kate and Eric’s Union Club Cleveland wedding for quite awhile.
I love buildings with a sense of history and architecture and use
that in my photography whenever possible. The Union Club has been
in use for more than one hundred years.
Their engagement session was done around the Cleveland Convention Center
and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was one of my favorites
I’ve done. See the link at the end for those.
We started with Kate getting ready at the Union Club Cleveland and a bit
later Eric arrived to get ready. Hair replacement and makeup were underway
as I photographed the details and dress along with the ladies.
Once everyone was ready we all went to Rocky River United Methodist
Church for the ceremony. This gorgeous church has a
classic white interior with columns and pews.
The bride’s getting ready room is the nicest I’ve encountered at
a church. The lighting and mirror is great and I wish
more churches provided such a nice space before for
the bride and her ladies before the ceremony. Rev.
Daniel lead the ceremony and Eric’s reaction to seeing
Kate and her father Dave walk down the aisle was one of
the most heartfelt responses I’ve ever witnessed.
After the ceremony we went to Wade Lagoon and the Cleveland
Museum of Art for portraits.
Chester Beach’s “Fountain of the Waters” is a classic backdrop for Cleveland wedding photography.
Then it was back to the Union Club Cleveland. Cocktail hour was in
a few rooms including the Reading Room and the entry area in
front of one of several gorgeous staircases at the club.
Eric thanked the guests.
Matron of honor Jessica gave a toast during the elegant reception.
Kate’s cousin Brady utilized some serious dance moves all night.
