Ceremony and Reception Aloft Cleveland wedding

Neha and Dan’s windy Aloft Cleveland wedding was a success.

I’d been looking forward to Neha and Dan’s Aloft Cleveland wedding for awhile. I’ve been to the hotel
multiple times for getting ready photos but never for a ceremony and reception.

It’s always easier when everything is in one location. One thing didn’t make it too easy though. The winds
were very strong off Lake Erie which threatened the wedding ceremony’s structure. With massive
reinforcements and fishing wire it did not blow away.

Dan: “We had a nondenominational American ceremony with Indian elements such as dress, music, exchange of
garlands. We wanted our ceremony to be spiritual and highly personalized.

“We wrote our own vows, wrote love letters to each other, incorporated our friends and family as much as
possible and chose readings that we felt reflected our relationship such as the Apache wedding blessing.
Reverend Susanna led the ceremony with such warmth and grace that everyone forgot about the unusually
cold, windy weather!”

Luckily the sun was out which helped keep everyone warm.

After the reception and family portraits we only had a small bit of time for wedding party photos. The
area just outside the Aloft Hotel worked perfectly for this and everything about the wedding.

Neha: “We were a little worried because Aloft is so sleek and modern and our style is so relaxed, but
Damara and Nikki worked together to bring décor and flowers that brought a lot of our character
to the venue. We honestly could not have had a better space and a better group of kind and talented
individuals to work with. Special thanks to Ashleigh Geraci of Lago Custom Events!”

Amanda Rassi did the makeup.

Junior bridesmaid Milani and Lipsa, matron of honor, were excited after Neha got her veil on.

Neha’s Uncles Praful and Pankaj walked her down the aisle to her mother, Pratibha.

Nephew Issac played during the ceremony.

The couple enjoyed it when there was a flashmob to an Indian Bollywood song.

Neha’s niece Milani did a special dance for everyone.
