Carrie and Paul had a beautiful Tudor Arms Hotel – Doubletree wedding!
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
Whenever I have a Tudor Arms Hotel – Doubletree wedding I’m very happy. This tells me the
couple has connected with the beautiful surroundings there that are on the standout
locations in Cleveland for a wedding.
Carrie and Paul came to the consult mentioning favorite photos they’d seen by me there. That’s a good sign!
Paul: “We chose the Tudor Arms because we were in awe from the moment we walked in. The
staff was so friendly and courteous. Plus, we originally saw pictures online that YOU
took at the Tudor Arms and we were in love with them! Everything just fit like a glove
and we are so happy we decided on Tudor Arms!”
Getting ready photos for a Tudor Arms Hotel – Doubletree wedding always stand out as you’ll
see. Those windows let in gorgeous light and look so regal as a backdrop along with the
treatments on the walls.
The couple requested we do their First Look in the stairwell and I’ve done this a few times
already and love the challenge of creating new photos from the space.
Then we were off to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens for portraits of the wedding party.
Another great backdrop for the wedding day.
Paul: “One of the groomsmen had a little stretch while taking pictures in the park. When
he did, the button on his jacket popped off!! I was thinking, “Now what are we going to
do?!” Luckily, Carrie’s mom had all the supplies she needed and sewed it right back on
when we went back to the hotel. It was pretty funny when it happened.”
Back at the hotel Paul and Carrie each had some time to read letters they’d written to each
other. This made for very touching photos-two of my favorite moments this year.
Please stop reading and look at the photos! What a perfect day!
Paul was beaming as Carrie and her father, Ted, walked down the aisle.
Rev. Charles “Chuck” Behrens conducted the ceremony.
The Northcoast String Quarter played before the wedding and also during the cocktail hour.
Kelsey Elizabeth Cakes provided four delicious cakes.
What a backdrop for the couple’s first dance!
Everyone toasted the couple.
Matron of honor and Carrie’s sister, Ashley, gave a speech.
“Your photo booth was a great addition to the night! Everyone that used it really had
fun and it was great looking at all the pictures and GIFs!”
Paul threw the garter from upstairs after Carrie did the same with her bouquet toss.
