Rina and Ryan’s Mooreland Mansion wedding was so beautiful!
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
This was another first for me as I’d never photographed a Mooreland Mansion wedding! I’d seen photos and always hoped I
would one day book it. Finally the day came with Rina and Ryan.
The mansion is from the turn of the century and was originally built as a summer home for the Moore family of Cleveland.
It’s on the campus of Lakeland Community College. There are many classic details including the front staircase and
all of the gardens and historic structures outside the mansion.
Rina: “We fell in love with Mooreland Mansion as soon as we arrived for our tour. We were originally thinking of doing
a downtown Cleveland or flats urban-type wedding, but thought it might be too much of a hike from our church so we
decided to look at Mooreland. Katie Coach at Mooreland Mansion gave us an amazing tour around the entire mansion and
grounds and we could instantly imagine our family and friends having a blast there. We were just so impressed with the
history of the mansion, the beautiful gardens, and the huge back porch for dancing. Shortly after the wedding, Ryan
surprised me with art of the original recorded plot of Mooreland Mansion so we could hang it in our house.”
Downtown Willoughby was a great backdrop for portraits.
Hollie was the maid of honor and John was the best man.
Rina danced with her father Tony.
I loved how the laser light colors matched the shirt on Elizabeth as she danced with Ryan’s Uncle Red.
