Kel and Nate’s Gervasi wedding was an intimate affair at the Gervasi Vineyard in Canton.

They found a Gervasi wedding would be perfect for their closest friends and family.
Nate: “Considering the size of our wedding, this was the PERFECT place. Other locations could accommodate a group
as small as ours, but the facilities were much bigger which made it feel more empty. It was in a great
location for our families and a beautiful property. We always wanted to go to Gervasi and we decided our
wedding would be a great first time and it will be a great place where we can break away and have dinner
and wine to celebrate our many anniversaries to come. We were also incredibly SHOCKED how affordable it was.”
They were married in the Conservatory which is a wonderful choice when your guest list is under 40 people. It’s
a beautiful space and everyone can stay dry if there’s rain. Nate knew it was predicted and wanted to make
sure Kel was happy even if there was rain.
“Like any soon-to-be-married couple, we were watching the weather forecast leading up to the weekend, and we
were preparing for a slight chance of rain. The morning of our wedding, I woke up, looked at the radar, and all
I saw was GREEN! Based on the forecast, we should now be preparing for a 100% chance of downpour. As I am a
salesman by profession, I wanted to comfort my fiancé and let her know it was all going to work out. Rather than
tell her so, I wanted to give her many reasons to believe.
“I looked online and found an article with like 20-30 reasons why rain on your wedding day is a GREAT thing.
After reading this article, I was even looking forward to the rain! I sent my well wishes, my comforts and this
article to my fiancé to put her at ease and let her know the day would be perfect, even if it was going to be a
torrential downpour. In the hours leading up to the ceremony and the hours following we got not one single drop
of rain! I’m glad my wife wasn’t buying what I was selling about all that ‘rain is a great thing on your wedding
day nonsense’ because our day couldn’t have been any more perfect!”
I love how caring he was to Kel!
Nate’s father Jim helped him with his suit.
Kel’s mother Emma buttoned up the dress.
Tom walked his daughter down the aisle.
