Great Gatsby Theme With Cleveland Museum of Art Portraits

This couple is very romantic. From their engagement session at the State
Theatre lobby on Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland to their
Great Gatsby themed wedding at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel
it seemed pretty obvious to me. As a Cleveland wedding photographer
this is the kind of opportunity I love!

Ashton said, “Dan really likes the 1920s era and I thought it would be
a romantic wedding theme.”

Dan got ready at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel while Ashton was at
the Westin Cleveland Downtown hotel. Her large suite was the
perfect size for everyone as they prepared for a busy day and night ahead.

The ceremony at Our Lady of Angels was followed by a 1957 Rolls Royce
Silver Cloud. From there we went to the Cleveland Museum of
Art for portraits plus another spot downtown where we could
stay dry from the constant rain that Saturday.

The cocktail and reception at the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel went wonderfully.

Ashton wrote a letter to Dan to read before the ceremony.

Angela and Kara did a selfie on the bus.

Ashton’s father Robert walked her down the aisle at Our Lady of Angels in Cleveland.

Ashton temporarily lost her veil as Dan accidentally stepped on it.

The windy rain was a bit of a challenge but the balloons still took flight.

The couple rented a 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud from Timeless Classic Limousine.

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s atrium was the perfect place for
rainy day portraits of the wedding party. This is one of my
favorite places as a Cleveland wedding photographer.

Roses for Weddings created the flower arrangements.

There were extra confetti poppers for the grand entrance at the
reception so everyone decided to give them a test early.

Quotes were used for the Great Gatsby theme throughout the cocktail
area outside the Gold Room at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland.

The Renaissance Hotel has so many gorgeous backdrops for a Cleveland wedding photographer.
