Fieldcrest Estate Portraits

Haley and John’s wedding weekend was a classy time with Brookside Country Club.

Their wedding weekend started at Fieldcrest Estates in Canton. John’s parents William and Mary,
held the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. I was asked to photograph
part of the dinner-a first for me. I also photographed the brunch the day after
the wedding at the gorgeous home of John’s grandparents, John and Mary-who are custom
home builders. Another first for me.

Back to the wedding day!

We started at the home of Haley’s parents, Todd and Teree. All the ladies were getting ready there
before heading to Trinity United Church of Christ in Canton
where the men were already waiting.

I found the guys playing a bit of basketball and relaxing before heading up to the ceremony.

After Haley walked down the aisle with her father Todd it was time for Rev. Heather to perform the ceremony.

As the couple exited the church the guest released 200 butterflies. Then we decided to pass on our
portrait location due to muddy conditions and I suggested we revisit Fieldcrest
Estates. Friday night I noticed a line of pumpkins on the entrance and thought it would make a
great photo with the couple walking down the drive. We timed it perfectly for great
light at the end of the day.

Next up was the reception at Brookside Country Club. A beautiful location with an impressive
interior. We took a few photos outside before it was time for introductions.

The wedding cake was by All Occasions Bakery and the groom had his own cake with a golf course
theme by Westside Bakery. I made a photo of their gorgeous wedding ring on that cake’s topper.

I asked Haley if she wanted to share anything about the day and she said, “I think the biggest
story is the surprise fireworks by John’s childhood friend and groomsmen. And the Late night
food was awesome! Swenson’s hit it out of the park!”

The couple honeymooned on Scrub Island in the British Virgin Islands.
