St. Ignatius of Antioch Ceremony and Cleveland City Hall Wedding Reception

I always love wedding receptions at Cleveland City Hall.
The men got ready at the new Cleveland Downtown Hilton while girls did their hair and makeup
and dresses at the Westin Cleveland Downtown Hotel.
Veronica was all smiles with her sister and friends as they dressed for the day.
Her father Don walked her down the aisle at St. Ignatius of Antioch. The photo is one of my
favorites with the gorgeous glass behind them. Father Michael performed the ceremony.
After the ceremony we photographed the portraits at Edgewater Park and the nearby Gordon Square
neighborhood. It’s so much easier to get there from Edgewater with the new road.
Then it was on to downtown Cleveland for more photos before the Cleveland City Hall wedding reception.
I love the architecture in the Cleveland City Hall. We arrived for some of cocktail hour
before introductions began.
I can honestly say this was one of the wilder bridal parties I’ve seen-or should I say groomsmen.
They were full of energy all day and it really translated to the dance floor all
night as well.
When the best man Dan caught the garter I’ve never seen someone more excited about it. The photos
below are proof of that! Their friend Lauren caught the bouquet and she was a
close second on the excitement level.
We ended the night with some portraits around Cleveland City Hall plus a few outside in the steamy
streets of Cleveland.
Matt said they decided on a Cleveland City Hall wedding because of “beautiful architecture, near
great locations to go out after the wedding plus plenty of hotels for out
of towners. It was perfect for our Gatsby theme.”
Lauren (she caught the bouquet) and boyfriend Mario use their selfie stick.
Dan has a dance off with Danielle. She told me earlier that there would be a contest and she would win.
