Ibel and Miguel’s Cleveland Cultural Gardens engagement was on fire!

They were natural models and were so comfortable in front of the camera coming up with all
kinds of poses and such great natural energy for their Cleveland Cultural Gardens engagement session.

Ibel and Miguel didn’t say this that I can recall but I often hear from my couples “we aren’t
good with photos and are awkward” and other negative photo talk. I get it as I often don’t feel
comfortable in front of a camera either. I have always said that’s why I like to be behind it!
However this is rarely the case after we get into taking some photos so I’m never worried about my couples.

Often a few back of the camera photos shown to the couple helps with their confidence. One
session I remember the guy saying “that’s us? We never look this good.” They had been dragging on
setting up the photo session for months.

I love getting to know the couple a bit more as the wedding day is always hectic and this is
such a help. Logistics sometimes keep a couple from doing an engagement session and it’s always
so fun when we can make it happen.

Ibel and Miguel’s wedding is coming up this week at Tudor Arms. It’s well known that it’s one
of my favorite Cleveland venues and I’m really excited to see what we create together. Their
ceremony is at St. Christopher Catholic Church-a beautiful place in Rocky River.
