Nicole and Eric’s Events at Tudor Arms wedding was a classy occasion!

This was my third time for an Events at Tudor Arms wedding this year and it’s easily one of my favorite places for a wedding.
I always love the challenge of creating something exciting and unique at the venue. The architecture is
so wonderful and never disappoints.
Eric: “We chose the Tudor Arms because we fell in love with it from the moment we stepped inside. Both
the ceremony and the reception hall were jaw dropping and exactly what we were looking for. Nicole ultimately
decided on the cape, because she wanted something different and unexpected and didn’t want a traditional veil.
She wanted to look elegant and dramatic and I certainly was stunned during the first look. She originally wanted
a dress that was more simple, however, once she saw her dress, she knew that it would have the right vibe to go
with the venue.”
Her dress was so beautiful and I found myself taking photos as she walked all day excited to capture
that cape in motion. She was such a classic beauty all day and brought Eric to tears a few times with her warm presence.
After the first look everyone was ready for the emotional ceremony and the fall light was perfect coming
into the tall leaded windows. I noticed the fall colors outside and even did a silhouette to capture those.
Eric bought all the groomsmen some retro 2000’s style sunglasses called Pit Vipers. “They were a fun idea.
I went with them because I thought that groomsmen gifts are often cheap and I never feel like I want to use them.
Sunglasses however could be used at the wedding and then be something the guys would actually want to wear.”
We made a fun photo of the guys tossing Eric in the air. “It was terrifying. However after seeing the pictures,
I am glad that we took the shot. I still don’t fully trust my groomsmen so I will not be doing that again.”
Nicole and Eric did their own introductions which was a first for me. Eric has done some wedding DJ action and
was very comfortable behind the microphone.
“We are very glad that we did our own introductions. I always felt that it can be uncomfortable when the DJ
introduces people they do not know at the wedding, especially when they get the pronunciations wrong. Doing them
ourselves allowed us to customize them and make them more entertaining for our guests. We got the idea for it
from our friends who did the same thing at their wedding – one of the groomsmen Nick and his wife Rachel.
I had trouble narrowing down the photos there were so many favorites. Enjoy!
Eric’s father Ken helped with his tie.
Nicole’s nephew Jack got dressed with his best friend Buzz Lightyear.
Sister Lindsey and mother Kim helped with the dress.
The first look!
Eric’s parents Ken and Debby walked him down the aisle.
Joe walked his daughter down the aisle.
I always love these small moments before the couple takes their vows.
A safe landing!
Ryan gave one of the toasts.
Eric’s sister Dana caught the bouquet.
During the anniversary dance the DJ always says “anyone married less than two hours please leave the dance
floor” and usually it doesn’t usually make much of a photo. This time though Eric and Nicole’s body language
took it to the next level as everyone reacted.
Friend Josh danced it up!
