Gervasi Vineyard is a wonderful place for a wedding and I always enjoy taking photos there.

Katie was getting ready in one of the villas with her
bridesmaids and Joe arrived a bit later.
Katie said, “The groomsmen all went swimming and laid out, while the
girls had to get up early and start getting ready. 😉 “
They saw each other between the vines for a first look with portraits
following before the ceremony and reception at the Pavilion at Gervasi Vineyard.
Although from different sides of Cleveland, the couple met at Blossom Music
Center during a Blake Shelton concert.
Jen from Anyes Salon did Katie’s makeup.
Katie waited for Joe to approach during the first look.
After they saw each other the bridal party walked the
grounds of Gervasi Vineyard for portraits.
Olivia is Katie’s niece and such a cutie.
The girls went with matching shoes while the guys were in sync with their socks.
Katie’s father Steve walked her into the ceremony.
Father Phil Marcin officiated the wedding.
The bridesmaids bouquets were made of hydrangeas and baby’s
breath by Erin from the Budding Tree.
As the couple walked from the ceremony they were covered in
candy sprinkles. Katie said, “We had to pick them out of
EVERYWHERE after…at the end of the night back in the room
we were still finding sprinkles coming out of my dress and hair! BAD IDEA.”
The many details at the ceremony and reception were
done by Brandi and her team from All Events Planned. Their efforts
made everything look so classy and kept the day going smoothly.
Joe’s father, Joe, made the cakes. Why Disney cakes?
Christmas is Katie’s favorite holiday and Joe planned a
trip to Walt Disney World last December. She said, “We
went to Disney on Dec. 12th, right before Christmas. He
always plans a trip for me, Christmas related because it’s
my favorite holiday. When we got there we went to the Disney
Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. In front of Cinderella’s
Castle he proposed at the rose garden. As he proposed a photographer
was taking pictures of us and fireworks went off.”
The display of past family weddings was wonderful
and is always a great addition to a reception.
Brandi and Nataya of All Event Planned get ready to open the curtain for the bridal party entrance.
Joe and Katie made a stylish entrance.
The Pavilion at Gervasi Vineyard was a beautiful setting for the reception.
The bridesmaids told the story of their days with Katie
and her relationship with Joe while showing photos.
Katie was a bit surprised to see the photo of her
leg split from her cheerleading days.
I love finding moments during the day and noticed Cate
and Ian walking around during the reception.
Everyone watched the screen as photos were shown of the couple.
Then they had their first dance with a video of Blake Shelton
playing “Beautiful To Me” in the background.
Joe’s cousin Casey sang during his dance with his mother, Tina.
Joe went all out and in as he retrieved the garter from Katie.
Rudy played accordion while Katie danced with Erik
and both are members of the STV Bavaria German Club.
Abby and others concentrated during a dance.
Often one of my favorite photos of the day is the
end of the night photo. We went just a few feet from the
reception to where the day started.
Have a great life Katie and Joe!
Thank you,
