Kayla and Brian’s wedding skirted rain all day and night and went perfectly.

The ceremony was at St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church.
Father Russ married Brian’s parents 30 years to the month
and was back to perform the service.
We did portraits in Strongsville and the Brecksville Reservation
before the reception at St. Michael’s Woodside.
Kayla’s sister Nikki helped her get
ready while Brian’s brother, Len, helped him.
I loved that the bride from the earlier wedding left Kayla a note.
Father Russ and Deacon Ken performed the ceremony.
Nikki asked Len to take a photo with a former President of the United States.
Kayla teased Nikki who is due to have her baby next month.
The heavy rain before the ceremony left some standing water
in the metroparks and I enjoyed making some fun photos from it.
The Brecksville Station is a popular spot for photos.
The Station Road Bridge is over 100 years old.
Claire is captured inside a glass during a toast at St. Michael’s Woodside.
Kayla danced with her father, Bob, and Brian danced with his mother, Lori.
Heather and Mike enjoyed the photo booth with Anna and Elias
whose wedding I photographed last year.
The ladies work with Kayla.
Kayla waited for Brian to retrieve the garter and he surprised
her with something I’ve never seen before.
Brian said “we wanted to do some kind of funny skit. Because
I am the science type (physics major in college and an engineer)
we thought it would be funny to dress up like Einstein and
try to find the right equation to get the garter”.
Tony’s strategy to run across and grab the garter failed along with his timing.
Brian had a funny story about the bouquet/garter toss. “Olivia
caught the bouquet, her boyfriend Brendan almost caught the
garter, but it ended up being snatched up by Tim. Brendan
and Olivia recently got engaged, so apparently the bouquet was enough!”
Kayla’s and Brian’s wedding day was a great time!
Thank you,
