Kayt and Aaron’s fall wedding at Stan Hywet was perfect. The colors were amazing and the couple was just as amazing.

Kayt and Aaron brought lots of friends and family to Ohio
for the wedding. Kayt’s from the area and Aaron has always been a
California man. They packed the week with activities for all of their friends.
After the ceremony at Stan Hywet Hall the reception was at
ThornCreek Winery. This place is a wonderful choice and I loved
the lighting in the reception area. You’ll see what I mean as you
look at the photos. This is the kind of unique place that I love
experiencing as a wedding photographer. So many fun possibilities.
We start with Kayt’s gorgeous dress. I love this old phone
in the carriage house at Stan Hywet Hall and
thought it the perfect place to display the dress.
Matron of Honor Kristy helps Kayt with her dress.
My photojournalism background serves me well as a wedding photographer.
I love capturing spontaneous moments like this as Kayt looks in the mirror.
Bridesmaids Summer and Gwen help with the shoes.
Kayt’s nieces Mia and Kayla help with her wrap.
Anne is Kayt’s dearest and oldest friend.
Kayt says of this ring: “The gold ring with diamonds is my mother
and Father’s engagement diamond, their anniversary diamond and
my mother’s mother’s engagement diamond in one setting.”
Ring bearer Mikey approaches Aaron and Rev. Tony
from Unity Center of the Heights.
Mia leads the procession. I love the Birch Tree Allée
which is 550 feet long.
When Kayt walked down the aisle she started with a ghost walk
in honor of her father Robert and was joined by her brother Steve first and then Dave.
Then her stepfather Mike brought her to Aaron.
Aaron’s enthusiasm all day was infectious. He was an actor
on “Days of Our Lives” for several years which may have helped with the dramatic gestures.
The tea houses setting at Stan Hywet Hall was perfect for the ceremony.
Aaron and Kayt’s exit after the ceremony is easily one of my favorites as a wedding photographer.
The bling is evident as they head off for the creative portraits.
Here’s another example where my photojournalism background
helps with noticing all the details and acting quickly.
The Japanese Garden was designed in 1916-what a great backdrop!
Kayt enters the English Garden.
Kayt’s brothers were Men of Honor with the bridesmaids.
It’s reception time at ThornCreek Winery!
Kayt spent many hours designing this family tree
with the wedding photos and Birch tree.
Didn’t I say the lighting at the reception was wonderful?
The couple’s boy, Liam was entertained by Mickey Mouse
while the toasts were being done.
Cousin Mike took a nap with Liam after dinner
and the couple was surprised to find them asleep.
Love this shot of Kayt and her friends out on the patio.
Kayt sang “Our Love is Here Stay” by Ella Fitzgerald and what a beautiful voice she has!
Kayt dance with stepfather Mike and then Aaron danced with his stepmother Linda.
Later in the night the couple took a break with Liam downstairs.
This was one of my favorite weddings this year!
Such a great time and wonderful, sweet couple!
Thank you,
