Jessica and Jeff had a royally fun Landoll’s Mohican Castle wedding!
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
The day of the wedding was super windy and I encountered quite a few detours because of wind damage and downed powerline but
finally made it to Landoll’s Mohican Castle.
Jessica and Jeff were each getting ready when I arrived and with all of their wedding guests almost the entire place was filled with
their friends and family – many coming from Cincinnati.
When they were ready they did a first look and portraits before the ceremony. The wind caused it to be moved into the reception
area which was much warmer.
I’ll let Jessica share her thoughts on the day now: “Jeff and I were together for 10 years before we got married. We decided
to do things backwards and have Brooklyn, seven and Bronx, three, before getting married. Including our children at our wedding really meant a lot to us.
“What a cool story they get to tell people. “My Mom and Dad got married at a Castle!” Besides that, we really liked Landoll’s
because of how beautiful it is. Hence why we chose you to do our pictures, haha. We really like your style.
“The running joke with Jeff’s mom, Linda, is that on her wedding day the sun shone, it rained and it snowed. Well that luck must
run in the family because it did all that plus strong winds.
“With April Fools’ Day as our wedding day, I knew pranks would surface. My friend Tara showed me a Tik Tok of a bride blowing
dust off her wedding vowels like they had been sitting awhile. Let’s just say it worked out perfectly and people are still talking about it.
As soon as I did that Jeff knew his wouldn’t top it! He pulled out vows rolled up into a scroll and rolled it down the aisle. On the back of
the paper it read, April Fools!
“We are definitely glad we rented the Copper Mug for the after party. It gave us some personal time to chat and drink with our guests.”
I know the bartender was shocked to see me there still taking photos. She said she’d never seen that happen before.
What a great wedding in a unique location!
Brooklyn hugged her grandfather Rick.
Brittany and Holly had a moment with Jessica.
Brian and Mike followed Jeff out of the room.
Bronx was a bit shy.
Susan and Tara enjoyed the photo booth.
Brooklyn danced with Sadie and Addison.
Jodi and her daughter Addison pulled some fierce poses.
The couple enjoyed time at the Copper Mug with friend Ali.
