I had been looking forward to Lauren and Nick’s wedding since shooting their engagement photos in the fall. We found the perfect fall leaves on the trees and a family of deer and had all kinds of fun. I knew the wedding would be something not to be forgotten. We started with the ceremony at the Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Royalton and after the ceremony there was a vintage Cadillac for a quick spin. Whenever an old car is involved I am happy because it always seems to make great photos with the couple.

With the threat of rain I took us to an old building that I knew would provide cover if needed. We were halfway done when we felt a few sprinkles but that was all for the rain. Then the reception at the Wyndham Hotel-a great place to celebrate. Toward the end of the night we went outside to get some shots and just as we set up it poured rain. We took cover and a few minutes later shot a few more before the rain dampened our efforts (literally). As they dashed for the hotel I took some photos and loved the contrast of the blue, wet street with their (mostly) dry selves.
Vic’s Floral provided flowers, Wildflour Bakery made the cake, John at Soundproof Entertainment did a great job keeping the party going and Shima provided transportation.
Thank you,
