Akron Art Museum Portraits

Lindsey and Danny’s day was full of downtown Akron fun.

Greystone Hall was the location for getting ready, the
ceremony and the reception. I’d never been there
before and it’s a gorgeous place.

We made creative portraits around downtown Akron
with the Akron Art Museum as one of the main locations.
Plus there was a request from Lindsey to use the
spiral staircase in a photo and I’ve never shot that
before although I know it’s a popular spot.

Lindsey had some fun things to say
about their wedding day:

Fun/interesting memories of the day: “My wedding
theme was classic elegance with sparkle. Hence,
all the blingy decor. All my bridesmaids behaved…
not sure about the groomsmen. I guess the ones that
are dads don’t get out to much so they really enjoyed
their day of freedom and being part of the bridal party
activities. Our entrance into the reception was as close
to royalty status as we will ever have.”

Akron has some great street art and
I love discovering new things.

On the way back to Greystone Hall we stopped outside the Akron Art Museum.

I love incorporating art and architecture in my images.

Matron of Honor Andrea opened the door for
Lindsey as she saw her father, Marty, for the
first time in her wedding gown.

Ceremony time and Danny was thrilled when
he saw Lindsey heading toward him.

Danny’s cousin Kevin was the officiant.

Cecilia was the flower girl and daughter of matron
of honor and best man, Sara and Jimmy. Sara’s mother Ann
was the matchmaker for Lindsey and Danny.

The couple placed a photo from the engagement
session we did on each table. Look at the end of

The beautiful cake was done by the Faithful Little Cupcake.

The toasts were very spirited.

Lindsey said about the dance: “The father/daughter
break out dance was fun. My dad and I put the moves
together and practiced several hours so we looked good.”

It was a great wedding day and I loved all
their great friends and family and Greystone Hall too.
