Marian and Edy had lots of fun details on their wedding day including a vintage car and a horse carriage ride. Everything made for great Cleveland wedding photography.
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
The couple lives in California and came back to Cleveland where
Edy grew up. We started and ended at the Crowne Plaza in Independence
with the ceremony at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church and downtown Cleveland
wedding portraits at the Cuyahoga County Courthouse.
We did their Cleveland engagement photography at the Cleveland Museum
of Art. Please check for a link at the end of the blog.
The couple did not want to see each other before the ceremony
but did want to exchange notes and talk for a few minutes.
Marian’s sister Marim and mother Amany helped with her dress.
Edy gave the groomsmen personalized pocket knives as gifts.
Marian’s father Father Mena walked her down the aisle
and performed the ceremony with Father Mikhail.
Edy’s parents Assaad and Amal signed the Report of Matrimony.
Chevron is clearly in fashion and I have at least one sighting
at every wedding. I was surprised to see three chevron items together this day.
St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church is beautiful inside and I also
photographed groomsman Soby’s wedding there last year.
Edy’s Uncle Eddie let the couple use his 1965 Ford
Mustang for a departure from the church.
We spent an hour making downtown Cleveland wedding photography
portraits at the Cuyahoga County Courthouse.
A horse carriage ride took them around downtown for a few minutes.
Then we were back at the Crowne Plaza.
Maid of honor and sister Marim gave a toast.
Looks like someone went a bit close in trying to catch the
bouquet although it ended up just behind her.
Thanks to Marianne for assisting me and taking some photos at the wedding ceremony.
