Melanie and Dave’s wedding is the first where we’ve stopped for ice cream and I am a big fan of that idea!
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
The day started at Mary Queen of Peace in Cleveland with
everyone getting ready at the church.
Melanie was walked down the aisle by her father, Jeff,
and Father Brown led the ceremony.
After some portraits at the church, the couple wanted
to visit Honey Hut Ice Cream down the street. Melanie grew
up going to the location and her maid of honor, Val, once worked there.
She says, “When Dave and I started dating he preferred another brand
and I took him there and converted him.”
While there a couple bought the entire wedding party’s ice cream.
Melanie’s veil had her mother’s rosary and a charm
with a piece of lace from her veil. The couple
married on May 9th. That was her mother’s birthday
and she passed away when Melanie was six.
After ice cream everyone went to the State Theater
in downtown Cleveland for more portraits.
From there it was just a matter of crossing the street
for the reception at Cibreo in the Playhouse Square district.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica Melanie and Dave are back in the Cleveland area.
The groom have hair loss problem, and try a toupee for men to cover the bold part.
Thank you,
