Renaissance Cleveland Wedding | Kelsey + Ben

Renaissance Cleveland Wedding

Kelsey and Ben’s Renaissance Cleveland wedding was a wonderful affair!

Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer

What a fun day with this Renaissance Cleveland wedding! This wedding was one of my favorites this year. Great people
and the photos we were able to make together made me so happy.

Before we get going let’s talk about the photo above – when we passed by the street and I saw those shadows
we had to do a quick turnaround to get it! I had noticed them several years ago and knew one day they would be mine.

We started at Renaissance Cleveland Hotel for getting ready photos for everyone. Their rooms are large and full of
wonderful window light which is a big plus. Especially with larger wedding parties. Some of the guys seemed a bit sleepy at
first due to a late night but perked up as it got closer to the wedding time.

Then we were off to one of my favorite churches – St. Stephens in Cleveland. What a gorgeous setting with so many
fun angles and plenty of time for photos during their Catholic service.

After their send off we had short amount of time with the wedding party due to the bus needing to go to another
location sooner than expected. We quickly made some photos of everyone at Graffiti Heart and then I suggested the couple stay
with me for additional portraits. Kelsey and Ben agreed and that made a massive difference in the photos we were able to take
before heading back to the Renaissance for the reception.

Kelsey agrees as her sweet note confirms: “I really, really appreciated you guys driving us to more places for photos
before the reception and then staying and capturing more special moments. It means so much and we are so happy to have
chosen you as our photographer!” Always nice to be appreciated for my commitment to making beautiful photos the couple
will have for many years to come!

Abby was maid of honor.

Ricardo folded his pocket square as the tv commercial offered a similar visual of the hands.

Louis was full of fun energy all day-you’ll see him again in a dance photo.

Nicole,  Lauren and Laura put in some selfie time.

Kelsey’s father, Kevin, walked her down the aisle.

Is it just me or do the icon’s faces mimic the couple’s faces?

Father Koka led the service.

Wild Flour Bakery always does beautiful cakes! The Lladro was owned by Kelsey’s mother, Gail, and was given to her
by her mother, Fran, for her wedding.

Kelsey’s father, Kevin, gave a toast and also did their dance.

Then it was Ben’s turn to dance with his mother Janice.

Strike a pose! Kelsey’s mother Gail and son Blake enjoyed the photo booth.
