Rachel and Alex had a beautiful St. Clair ballroom wedding.

It had been a few years since I was there for a wedding so I was happy to get back. I’m glad to say I have another wedding
there in a few months.

We started with the ladies getting ready there and they were busy putting donuts into boxes as a special wedding favor for
the guests once their hair and makeup was done.

I checked on the guys while the ladies got dressed and they were having a good time in the wedding suite. They were busy
playing quarters and trying the brown liquors out. Alex gave his parents Brad and Tami very heartfelt notes and clearly loves them very much.

Once Rachel’s mother Debbie and sister Kelli helped with her dress it was time for a first look with her father Mark.

Rachel: “My father and I have always had an incredibly close relationship. Sadly a few years ago he was diagnosed with a
progressive form of dementia. Over the past few months he has rapidly declined. We decided to move up the wedding as early as
possible in hopes that he would be able to give me away and have our father – daughter dance. In the weeks before the wedding
it didn’t seem as though he would be capable of these tasks.

“However, at the wedding rehearsal before we took our walk down the aisle, he turned to me and said “Rach, we made it.”
(cue the waterworks). It was a very emotional weekend. As time is certainly not on our side, we’re very thankful for every
memory that was made.”

It was a honor to document Rachel with her father during the wedding day and see how much she loves him.

With no first look we didn’t have a lot of time for portraits due to the ceremony going into the cocktail hour and then
dinner. Rachel and Alex decided to do a special after wedding portrait session to make up for that. Those photos will be seen later.

Alex, Zach and Jared finished getting dressed.

Best man Jared helped with Alex’s tuxedo.

Alex received an album of boudoir photos from Rachel

Mom Debbie and sister Kelli helped with the dress.

Rachel had a heartfelt first look with her father Mark.

Rabbi Susan Stone led the Ketubah signing.

Alex and his parents Brad and Tami walked him down the aisle.

Flower girls Danielle and Emily helped ring bearer Connor down the aisle.
