The 9 Wedding Cleveland

Katie and Kevin’s was a very fun at the 9 Wedding Cleveland experience.

Katie and Kevin were so much fun on their engagement session and their wedding day was no different. Everyone got
ready at the Metropolitan at the 9 for the wedding and it would also be where the ceremony
and reception was held.

The threat of rain kept the ceremony from happening on the Azure Rooftop Lounge and it was relocated to the Mint
Ballroom where the reception would take place.

After the couple’s first look in the vault we walked toward E. 4th Street which is a popular location for
wedding photography.

The century old vaults beneath the former Cleveland Trust Rotunda is one of the coolest places for a cocktail
hour in the Cleveland area. The former vaults held the money and possessions of John D. Rockefeller
and Andrew Carnegie and others.

Katie: “When we first went to look at venues, we looked at the Art Museum, the Botanical Gardens and then the
9. I had always wanted to be married at the Art Museum but the 9 and their staff blew us away so we
decided to go with them. We actually signed the venue contract before we were officially engaged.”

Many of Kevin’s family and friends came from California for the wedding.

Candy held by mother Katie seemed to motivate flower girl Addie to come down the aisle in front of everyone.

Katie’s father, Randy, was the officiant for the ceremony.

Humphrey Bogart and Casablanca played in the vault during the cocktail hour.

Best man Victor gave a toast that cracked up the couple.
