Tudor Arms Events Wedding | Jill + Dan

Tudor Arms Events Wedding

Jill and Dan’s day was so lovely and yet another Tudor Arms Event wedding success!

Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer

When Dan messaged me about their wedding and mentioned past groom Matt I remembered him right away.
Each was the best man for the other and I remember Dan’s wild dance moves at Matt’s wedding of which
four photos made that blog post and you’ll find the link below. You’ll also see there were three couples
at the wedding that I photographed.

Jill didn’t yet know Dan then so it was nice to meet her at our consultation. She told me of remembering
my images on the walls at Matt and Veronica’s house and knew she liked my work.

Jill: “We both wanted a mix of traditional with our own spin on it all. Tudor Arms allowed us to do that
and was so naturally beautiful.”

Dan: “From the first time we walked into the Crystal Ballroom at Tudor Arms we knew we wanted to
celebrate our marriage there. It’s such an elegant space and was everything we wanted.”

Jill: “The way that everything came together was better than we ever imagined. We had the elegant,
classy, big wedding we had always dreamt of. It was incredible to look around at the reception and see all
of our people supporting us and having an absolute blast out on the dance floor.”

Tudor Arms really is one of the best places for a wedding in the Cleveland area. I love the challenge
of creating new images with old world architecture.

Dan was emotional all day and it so sweet to see how much he loves Jill.

“I was a complete mess during the first look and Jill was composed – and absolutely stunning! I’ll never
forget that moment.”

We’ll end with a few funny stories from the couple.

Jill: “We had taken dance lessons to prepare for our first dance but we could not get my dress to bustle.
We laughed through the whole song as Dan tripped again and again. We 10/10 would do it again – it was so much fun!”

Dan: “One of my groomsmen accidentally caught a bouquet on fire at the reception and I kept it to gift
to him at his wedding.”

Maids of honor Cate and Meg talked with Jill.

Bridesmaid Polina finished up her makeup.

Cate danced with Sophie and Ellie. They are Dan’s nieces.

Father of the bride, Doug, and Jill’s brothers, Ted and Paul, worked on their ties.

The ring from Jill’s great grandmother Gladys included the birthstones from her children and grandchildren.

The first look!

Someone was setting up a proposal near the Art Museum when Dan and Jill passed by.

It’s always nice when people follow the couple’s wishes and put their phones away so they can look out
in the crowd and see smiling faces instead of phones and iPads.

This moment with Jill and her father Doug is one of my favorite wedding photos I’ve ever taken!

Flower girl Bronwyn sat on her grandfather Mark’s lap. Her father is Matt.

Veronica, Matt’s wife, gave a toast.

My past couples Alex and Heather and Veronica and Matt toast.

Dan and his mother Debbie did a spirited dance.

Bridesmaid Katelyn was determined to catch the bouquet and succeeded.
