Casie and Tyler’s Whitehall Columbia wedding was a wonderful emotional affair.

I met the guys at a hotel for getting ready photos and then the ladies were getting ready in the bridal studio at Whitehall
Columbia. The venue is a former 1938 school building and there was so much room for them.
It was my first time there and I loved it! The ceremony area was perfect with the shaded areas under the 100-year-old oak tree
and gorgeous light. The building was in amazing condition with the reception in the former gym. I can’t wait to go back there again.
The couple did a first look near the covered bridge a few miles away in Olmsted Falls. Then we took bridal party photos at David
Fortier River Park which has some beautiful options.
This was one of the most emotional ceremonies I’ve ever photographed and my photojournalism background was perfect to capture it all.
Casie: “The day was emotionally a lot for the both of us. We’ve been together for 8 years and were unsure if we even wanted a wedding,
but were grateful in the end. We aren’t planners, but love a good party. We chose Whitehall Columbia when we started wedding planning
in 2021 because they made it easy and provided a wedding venue unlike any we’ve been to before. They helped with many of the vendors and
gave a recommendation for an officiant when our initial plan fell through.
“We are even more pleased with Minister Sharnise and are so happy we found her. She was patient with us and made us comfortable.
She kept her word on creating a customized wedding ceremony that we continued to receive compliments about for the months following.
“Julia is the event coordinator at Whitehall Columbia and she was there every time I needed her. I didn’t even have to look for her.
It was like she was magic. Every time I turned around she was there and ready to help – she even took care of the kids.
“Tyler and I do things out of order, so there really was no surprise that we were expecting before the wedding. We were really nervous
about how this would all come together having an almost one-year-old, but Lucille was a trooper and the day was even more special having
her be a part of it.”
Matt helped Tyler with his pocket square.
Tyler’s brother Ryan was the best man.
Chelsea helped button up Casie’s dress.
Morgan applied a bit of perspiration protection to Sam.
Lucille made her ceremony entrance with the help of Ryan, Charlotte, Henry and Desiree.
Casie and her father Ben try to avoid getting too emotional.
Everyone fought back tears including Tyler’s parents Jerry and Marcia.
Minister Sharnise Sears led the ceremony.
Casie and Tyler were thrilled to be with their daughter Lucille after the ceremony.
Casie’s parents Diane and Ben greeted the couple.
Ryan and Desiree gave toasts followed by fathers Jerry and Ben.
