Michelle and Anthony’s St. Stanislaus Wedding in Cleveland was a fun time.

Whenever I find out a couple is doing a St. Stanislaus Wedding in Cleveland I’m very happy. It’s easily one of
the most beautiful Catholic churches in Cleveland.
The architecturally Gothic church was dedicated in 1891 and is the second largest of that type built by Catholics
in the United States. St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City is larger and I can attest to that as I walked through
it a few weeks ago.
Now back to the Michelle and Anthony’s St. Stanislaus Wedding in Cleveland, followed by a reception at the Ballroom
at Park Lane.
The couple decided to get ready at Tudor Arms Hotel in Cleveland. I know it well as I’m usually there for a handful
of weddings each year. At those weddings the couples usually get ready in their bridal rooms so this was a bit different
as they had suites.
It was a busy time with hair and makeup and all the children which made for fun photos.
Then we were off for their St. Stanislaus Wedding in Cleveland!
Anthony: “Our very good friend Dave plays the organ there and Michelle wanted to get married in a Catholic church
because of her Grandfather Manuel that passed away years ago. That’s why we did a Catholic mass for him. I know we would
have loved it and the song Michelle walked down the aisle was an an Italian song.”
Michelle was a bit nervous and put the ring on the wrong finger of Anthony.
They had a special surprise with rose petals being dropped on the couple at the end of the ceremony.
Michelle: “The rose petals falling from the ceiling was something we had in mind years before even getting engaged.
We tried to keep that a secret from as many people as possible.”
After the beautiful ceremony and bubble exit we headed to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. We made portraits at the
Greek and Italian gardens.
The Ballroom at Park Lane cocktail hour was going strong when we arrived.
Michelle: “For the venue we wanted to pick something special and intimate. We both love the way the Ballroom looked
and the possibilities it gave us, especially with the neighborhood it was in.
For the band they chose Tricky Dick & the Cover-Ups where the band was playing at the bar where they met. Michelle:
“We were hanging out with our friends and started talking. Anthony came over to my friend’s place and we hung out all
night long. The next morning I asked for his number and that’s how it started. We fell in love with one another and
we can’t wait to be together for the rest of our lives.
“We tried to have as many things as possible during the reception to make it a fun party. Live music, photo booth,
signature drinks, caricatures, phone for messages and everything else. We love throwing parties and we tried to make this
as memorable as possible. People are asking when the next wedding/party is so we can do another party like this. People
did say this was the best wedding that they have been to ever.”
Best man Chris adjusted Anthony’s look.
Michelle gave a handkerchief to her father Tom.
Sister and Matron of Honor Trish buttoned up Michelle’s dress.
Mother Ann helped too.
Flower girls Giuliana, Leah and Emilia had some cool jackets.
Anthony pointed out his Siberian Husky socks.
Father Rob talked to the couple.
The first time I’ve seen at a flower petal drop at a St. Stanislaus Wedding in Cleveland.
Anthony and groomsman James share a special moment.
A guest signed the reception signing album I made from the engagement session.
Zach carried Keith in during the bridal party entrance.
Michelle and friend Shannon enjoyed the photo booth.
The boys were surprised by the garter retrieval.
