Cleveland History Center wedding
Janavi and Zach’s wedding started at Landerhaven with an Indian ceremony. The next day they had another ceremony and reception at their Cleveland History Center wedding. I’m starting the blog with day two since it was more hours of photography.
Landerhaven’s Indian ceremony was led by Priest Pandit Bhagvara who used humor throughout the nuptials.
Janavi: “We chose Landerhaven because of the beautiful indoor tent and we loved the adorable frogs in the little pond next it. The catering was awesome and had ice cream too because our first date was getting ice cream. We do that every anniversary as a tradition.”
The next day was their Cleveland History Center wedding. I love photographing there from the first look and portraits to the ceremony.
The reception is in the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum and that’s as cool as it gets! The Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel is also a highlight for the couple and their guests.
The Hay-McKinney House has so many beautiful backdrops for photography and the ceremony in the Hay Vanderbrook Garden is wonderful.
Janavi: “We wanted a Cleveland History Center wedding because of the garden and both of us studied history in college and absolutely loved the vibes of the place. During the ceremony, our ketubah blew away which was so funny and I read my vows out of a mushroom foraging book which was the first gift Zach ever gave me.”
There were lots of personal touches. Janavi and her father John spent hours finding the perfect father-daughter song since they’ve always loved listening to music together. Her mother Asmita had a small first dance song together too.
Zach’s mother Susie and sister Emily went shopping with the bride for Indian jewelry.
The couple made their wedding scents in London and etched their initials onto the bottles.
Zach even designed Janavi’s engagement ring and his own ring.
As you’ll see there was lots of energetic dancing at this reception too!
Janavi’s siblings Jessica, Audrey, Ryan, Andrew, father John and Raedan see the bride in her dress for the first time.
Zach’s mother Susie walked him down the aisle.
Parents John and Asmita brought Janavi to Zach.
