Cleveland spring engagement session

I’m always happy when my couples are able to do a Cleveland spring engagement session, especially at the Wade Lagoon near the Cleveland Museum of Art. Sometimes the window of peak color is short lived due to spring rains.

The area is famous for the flowering trees pink blooms which usually are toward the end of March to the end of April. Social media is often full of photographers asking if they are in bloom yet.

The University Circle neighborhood is very popular for a Cleveland spring engagement session, especially around Wade Lagoon and the art museum. Other hot spots include the Cleveland Botanical Garden and the campus of Case Western Reserve. My couple are graduates of the college so we also did some photos there in the middle of the session.

I’m excited for their wedding at the Great Lakes Science Center. The ceremony will be on the outer deck overlooking Lake Erie, Voinovich Park and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Their six story atrium is a beautiful spot for the reception and the food is always delicious.
