Gina and Kyle’s wedding had three beautiful Canton locations-the Onesto Event Center for getting ready and first look, the Old Stone Chapel and the Metropolitan Centre.

Seeing photos of the three spaces I was excited to photograph them for the first time!
Gina and Kyle are high school sweethearts who have been together for nearly 10 years.
They were friends for a year before they started dating. Gina said that obviously they are still
each other’s best friend. Gina: “Kyle actually said something on the day of our wedding that was
really sweet about this: “everyone leading up to this point has asked me if I am nervous about
getting married and I tell them no because I get to marry my best friend.”
This is sweet and especially touching as I think of my own parents, Ron and Carol, who
were married 60 years and together 65 years. Sadly my father just passed away last month and they
had a wonderful life together. High school sweethearts can have such a deep bond and I’m happy for
Gina and Kyle’s future together as they build their family.
After leaving the Onesto Event Center we walked around downtown Canton with the bridal
party for photos before the ceremony. There were so many great backdrops and I love all of the art
in the city for backdrops to the portraits.
One of their favorites is the mural of Jim Morrison of the Doors. They had done engagement
photos there and wanted to make sure they had some wedding photos too.
Then it was time to get to the Old Stone Chapel for their ceremony followed by a getaway
in a beautiful and LARGE 1967 Cadillac convertible.
The Metropolitan Centre rooftop was the reception location and the weather was perfect
as it got later in the day.
Gina said: “My Matron/Maid of honor speech was completely unexpected and super entertaining.
Liza (Matron of Honor), Mariah (Maid of Honor) and I have all been best friends since we were in
Kindergarten. We have always been kind of wild and constantly laughing so naturally they had to have
shenanigans for their speech by making it a remix rap of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with lyrics all
about our childhood and the story of Kyle and me.”
Mariah helped Gina get her shoes on.
“The glasses came from my bachelorette party where my bridesmaids and I wore them all
weekend because the theme was “bride vibe” aka super hippie dippie 60’s stuff.”
Liza sang to begin the ceremony.
Gina’s father, John, walked her down the aisle.
Ringing the bell is tradition when getting married at the Old Stone Chapel.
The couple wrote letters to each other but didn’t get to read them until after the ceremony.
Kyle requested we get a dip photo in front of the red doors!
Mariah danced it up all night long!
