Sandusky Wedding | Laura + Sam

Sandusky Wedding

Laura and Sam’s Sandusky wedding was very unique!

Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer

They live in Michigan and decided to do their wedding in Sandusky partly because Sam’s Dad is from there and his mom lives
there which is where his parents met.

They rented the upper floor of a building called the Loft Downtown located in the Lea Building. It has a basketball
court/ceremony/reception room and a huge kitchen/family room with lots of bedrooms. Plus a rooftop and massive movie room
and was a really cool space for a wedding.

Laura: “We chose the venue because we wanted more of a house party than a typical reception. It was perfect, everyone
got to do what they wanted.”

Sam: “Though the set up was a bit stressful, we feel it went much smoother and gave everybody more of a homestyle vibe.”

The couple was able to get ready in a few large rooms before their first look near the circular staircase.

Laura: “I am glad we did a first look because it was nice to spend more time with Sam before the wedding. I will never
forget the look on Sam’s face during the first look and when I walked down the aisle.”

After this we did some family and bridal party photos in the loft before heading out with Laura and Sam for some couples
photos in downtown Sandusky. It was a bit chilly and windy so the bridal party didn’t venture out.

The reception had some wonderful Latin food and there were plenty of drinks on the island/bar area all night.

Laura was surprised when her nephew Dylan danced with her during the special dances which made for some emotional
photos. “It was sweet. He’s a very old soul that loves classic music and loves to sing and dance.”

Now enjoy this Sandusky wedding!
