Windows on the River Cleveland Wedding | Chardonnay + Tate

Windows on the River Cleveland Wedding

Chardonnay and Tate had an unforgettable Windows on the River Cleveland wedding.

We started with the ladies getting ready at the Drury Plaza in downtown Cleveland before I met the guys at St. John of the
Cross in Euclid for the ceremony. Chardonnay and Tate’s son Giovanni was also there and excited to see his mother.

After their bubble exit and family portraits we made our to the Cleveland Museum of Art for some quick portraits before
heading to Windows on the River.

Their reception was in the City View Room which is a favorite of mine.

I asked Chardonnay and Tate if they wanted to share anything about their day and Tate delivered not just that but thoughts
about how much he loves her.

Tate: “Our wedding day was truly the best day of my life.

“As a young man, I had grown up with a vision of a wife, a mother and a best friend that I would long for. One that I could,
praise, protect, lead, serve and love. I cried watching her walk down the aisle towards me because my vision came to life.
Just as I have been blessed by God, I had been blessed by Chardonnay.

“She appeared in my life almost three years ago. We found each other at a time when we were both in a darker place in life.
Struggling to make ends meet and challenging the world alone in many ways. My entire life, purpose, and imbalance shifted after
a few weeks of meeting her. I had never known the true beauty of a woman before her and I am quite frankly ashamed of my choices
prior. Nonetheless, I knew I had to have this woman forever.

“How exciting it was to have everyone we’ve ever known and loved to be in that room with us to bear witness to our new family.

“I had a lot of people I know give me advice for a wealthy marriage. She gets all of my love because she deserves it and gives
it back to me in a better way.

“I hadn’t seen my mom Tamera since 2018. My entire family is extremely separated literally and somewhat figuratively but the
important people made it. One song I absolutely love, one that my Mom played for me when I was little was “Always and Forever”
by Heatwave. We danced to that song in a fun and silly mother-son way and she freaked out that I actually knew all the words.
I love my mother very much and I will remember that dance forever.

“During our ceremony Giovanni tried to run up on stage with us and I am hoping it was for hugs and not for jealousy. Either way,
he failed in his attempt which everyone thought was hilarious.”

Best man David checked Tate’s collar.

Giovanni looked to see if his mother had arrived yet.

Flower girls Finley, Kori and Nora walked down the aisle.

Chardonnay walked down the aisle with her father William.

The couple hid away while the guests went outside for the bubble exit.

Giovanni kept his eye on the veil as the wind blew it around.

DJ Rev Dev showed how to do a dance.
