Kara and Jose’s beautiful Port Clinton wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company went perfectly.

It was the perfect day for a wedding. A bit breezy and not too hot. I started with the men at the Victorian Inn B&B in Port Clinton.Then I went to Gideon Owen Wine Company where the women were getting ready.

Kara and Jose did the their first look on the shore of Lake Erie and is very emotional for them when they saw each other.

Kara: “I grew up by the lake so it means a lot to me! I knew I always wanted to get married by Lake Erie. We loved the winery because of how beautiful the gardens are, but when our friend offered their waterfront lake house for the first look, everything seemed perfect.”

Next we went back to the Gideon Owen Winery for them to read letters they wrote to each other. The wine cellar was agreat location for that and next was bridal party portraits in the vineyard.

Ceremony time was next and I loved how animated Kara was all day. Cocktail hour went quickly and the reception was on with the band “Not Fast Enuff”.

Kara: “My Dad and I both play instruments and have played for several weddings throughout the years. He loves jazz & Frank Sinatra and since I am his youngest kid, the song “You Make Me Feel So Young” seemed like a good choice. He picked it out! We took a few dance lessons and practiced on our back porch to nail down all the dance moves!”

Kara’s mother Joan helped with the veil.

Kara’s father Kim walked her down the aisle.

Best man Franco and matron of honor Erin made a meowing entrance.

Jose danced with his mother Sylvia.
